After two years of COVID forced cancellations, we are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to Run for the Kids.
We are still operating under COVID rules, so some aspects might be a little different from previous years.

BOLTE BOLT
Bolte Bolt – Are you faster than USAIN BOLT? If so, get ready to
dash for cash in the brand new Bolte Bolt presented by Transurban.
Keep an eye out for the Bolte Bolt start signs as you enter the Bolte Bridge, and cover the distance to the centre of the Bridge in the fastest time to claim the
prize for your age group. (You can then walk the rest of the way if you need to)
Everyone who enters Run for the Kids is automatically entered in the Bolte Bolt, with prizes awarded to the fastest runners in the following age categories:
Under 15
16-21 years
22-30 years
31-40 years
41-50 years
51-60 years
61-70 years
70 + years

DRESS TO IMPRESS
Add to the colour and fun of the event by dressing as your favourite character,
donning a tutu or the footy jumper of your favourite team.
Upload a photo to instagram using #R4K22, to be eligible for a random prize

PRE PURCHASED RACE MEDALS
Pre-purchased race medals will be available for collection from designated
locations within the Event Village.
If you have pre-purchased a medal, after your cross the finish line, head to one of the Medal Collection marquees and show your race bib to redeem your medal.
Pre-purchased medals must be collected on Race Day.

EVENT MERCHANDISE
Limited merchandise will be available for purchase the at Merchandise outlet on Harbour Esplanade promenade. The merchandise outlet opens at 7am, so be sure to visit early to secure your preferred style and size.
Pre-ordered merchandise can be collected from a dedicated marquee next to the Merchandise outlet.

PROMENADE PICNIC
Enjoy the sights and sounds of Docklands before or after your race in the
Promenade Picnic space.
Grab a coffee or an ice-cream, and and take in the water views from the picnic tables along Victoria Harbour.
Keep an eye out for roving entertainers, and catch some tunes from Mazda DJ.

ROOS SQUAD SKILLS CLINIC
Looking for a way to entertain the kids before or after your race?
North Melbourne Football Club will be hosting a junior skills clinic in Docklands Park. Meet North Melbourne mascots Ruby and Kanga and learn some new footy skills.
Pre-register your kids to attend the clinic and they will receive a showbag.
