Individual Entries – Step by Step instructions

  1. Select Individual, then select I’m not part of a Team, then click on the green continue button.
  2. Enter your personal details, taking care to ensure your name is spelt correctly. Please note: both a mobile number and email address are required to complete a registration.
  3. Please enter your address, including a business name (if applicable).
  4. Please complete the medical information.
  5. Please provide the details of your emergency contact, including their mobile phone number.
  6. Please read the Waiver Terms and Conditions as these explain the conditions of your participation in the event. Once you have read the waiver, please click on the slider to accept the terms and conditions, then click on the green continue button.
  7. On the next screen, please select your course distance. Please note the price for children under the age of 15 will be automatically discounted by $15 until midnight on January 31, 2020.
  8. Once you have selected your course distance, please select your start zone. (Click on the for information about each zone) then click on the green continue button.
  9. On the next screen, please answer the Additional Questions
  10. As you scroll down this screen, you have the option to create an online fundraising page.  If you would like to create a fundraising page, please select yes. A page will be created for you, and the login details will be emailed to you. There is no obligation to create a fundraising page, and many entrants simply choose to make an Optional Donation instead, which can also be completed on this page
  11. At the bottom of the screen, you can add Additional Items to you registration.  For the first time ever, to celebrate 15 years of Run for the Kids, a special finishers medal has been created. If you would like to order a finisher’s medal, you can do so at this point. You can also order an SMS results.  Once you have selected your Additional Items, click on the green continue button.
  12. The next screen displays the Collection methods for your Race Kit. Please select either Pick up or Postage.
    Pickup: Race Kit Collection will be from the HWT Tower, 40 City Rd, Southbank on Thursday March 26, 2020 between 8am and 6pm and Friday, March 27, 2020 between 8am and 6pm.
    Postage:Race Kits will be mailed in progressive mail outs commencing in mid February. Race Kits can become separated in the mail, so do not be concerned if Race Kits for your family don’t all arrive on the same date. If you choose to have your kit posted, the cost is $4, and you can nominate your preferred shipping address. Once you have selected your Race Kit collection method, click on the green continue button.
  13. The next screen displays the 2020 Official Nike merchandise. Choose your preferred size and style, then click on Add to cart to add your selection to your transaction.  Please note, stocks are limited, so order early to ensure you can buy your preferred item of merchandise. Please note, ALL merchandise will be mailed. It is not possible to collect Merchandise in 2020. Postage costs $10 regardless of the number of merchandise items you purchase. Then click on the green continue button
  14. The Transaction summary screen displays the details of your entry and any additional products you intend to purchase.  If you have completed your entry, click on the green continue button to proceed to the payment screen. If you wish to add additional people,  click Add another registration to commence a second registration.
  15. Once on the payment screen, complete your payment details, and click on the green PAY NOW WITH CARD button to finalise your payment by credit/debit card.
  16. Once you have finalised payment, a confirmation screen will display, and you will receive an email confirming your registration, and a separate email providing a tax invoice for your payment.
