Herald Sun
The Herald & Weekly Times Pty Ltd (HWT) has entered into an agreement with CityLink to bring to Melbourne a fun run that is an iconic event in support of Victoria's best-loved charitable cause.
HWT, through its flagship newspaper, the Herald Sun has had a long and proud association with the Good Friday Appeal.
The Appeal originated in 1931 when a group of Herald and Weekly Times' employees got together with sports officials to run a sports carnival that raised money for the hospital, then struggling in the grip of the Great Depression.

CityLink and the Run 4 the Kids
CityLink is excited to be Presenting Partner with the Herald Sun and the RCH Appeal in Run for the Kids.
We have something unique to offer this event - access to a course that takes participants almost 30 metres below the Yarra in the heart of the city and 30 metres above the mouth of the Yarra River at Docklands.
This is a 'must run' course for the serious athlete and the fun runner - a rare opportunity to get up close and physical with CityLink's Domain Tunnel and Bolte Bridge before pushing on to the finish at Kings Domain.

CityLink welcomes the opportunity to be so closely involved in this special event to launch the Good Friday Appeal. It's our way of paying tribute to all who support this annual Appeal right across Victoria.
We hope everyone that runs this amazing course enjoys the experience of running on CityLink, seeing Melbourne as you've never seen it before, and of supporting Victoria's premier community fundraising effort.
If there's one unique thing you do in 2011, Run for the Kids on April 17, 2011
